Our licensing process follows four phases:
Preparation
PraxisIP evaluates the invention, reviews competing technologies, and prepares a comprehensive information memorandum presenting its features, commercial potential, and advantages over existing solutions.
Marketing
PraxisIP identifies and contacts qualified licensing prospects worldwide, targeting companies within the patent owner’s industry and relevant adjacent markets.
Proof Of Concept
PraxisIP coordinates with patent owners and prospective licensees to validate an invention’s technical and commercial value. This phase may include transferring prototypes, materials, or equipment for evaluation, testing, and collaborative development.
Agreement
PraxisIP facilitates negotiations between patent owners and prospective licensees to establish clear, commercially sound licensing agreements.
Licensing engagements are often long-term projects and may continue for more than two years.
PraxisIP generally works on a success-fee basis. We therefore accept projects selectively, focusing on well-qualified patented innovations that offer meaningful commercial advantages and a strong likelihood of successful licensing.
